The role
We have an opportunity for an individual interested in career progression within Hospitality to join our team as Hospitality Support. The successful candidate will work on-site at one of our client locations, supporting a busy and dynamic event schedule and reporting to the Hospitality and Events Manager.As part of Aramark, you will join a global leader in food, facilities management and hospitality services, delivering experiences that enrich and nourish lives. The role requires flexibility, a strong customer focus, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide food and beverage service to customers in line with company standardsEnsure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, particularly HACCAP requirementsCarry out cleaning duties associated with service areas, equipment and furniturePrepare service areas and ensure service points are fully set up and maintainedClean and replenish service equipment as requiredEnsure accurate storage of food items and equipment after serviceAssist with food preparation and efficient service delivery, including light cooking where requiredMonitor and record food and equipment temperatures in line with proceduresHandle cash transactions and follow all company cash handling and till procedures accuratelyAttend and participate in in‑house training sessionsMaintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance and uniform at all timesPresent a professional image that supports excellent customer relationsComply with and support the implementation of company health and safety policiesFollow all company policies and procedures and support their ongoing promotionSupport the wider team with additional duties as required to ensure smooth operationsCarry out barista duties during quieter hospitality periodsComplete paperwork accurately as assigned by the line managerQualificationsPrevious experience in a catering or hospitality environment is desirablePrevious barista experience is an advantageKnowledge of food hygiene standards, including HACCAPGood level of spoken and written EnglishStrong customer service skills with a courteous and professional mannerGood organisational and multi‑tasking abilityAbility to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a teamHigh level of motivation, reliability and good time‑keepingAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standardsAn interest in food, service and hospitalityWillingness and ambition to develop and progress within the industryThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in hospitality within a supportive and fast‑paced environment.
