We are delighted to partner with a market leader in conveyor and material handling systems to find a Head of Sales who can take ownership of commercial growth and lead a skilled, hands‑on sales team.
This is a key leadership role for someone who understands industrial environments and wants to shape the company's future direction.
You'll set the sales strategy, manage major accounts, and strengthen partnerships across sectors such as mining, aggregates, cement, and logistics.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute the annual sales strategy in line with company goals.
Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
Maintain and grow key customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service and technical support.
Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive market engagement.
Oversee distributor and end‑user relationships, providing on‑site support, product demonstrations, and training.
Monitor performance, analyse market trends, and report insights to the Managing Director.
Represent the company at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service to align efforts and maximise success.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of proven sales experience in industrial or mechanical systems, ideally conveyors or bulk material handling.
Demonstrated success in developing sales strategies and managing high‑value customer accounts.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Engineering qualification (Degree or Diploma preferred).
Solid understanding of industrial safety standards and compliance requirements.
Willingness to travel regularly across the territory and occasionally overseas.
Practical, hands‑on approach with the ability to work safely in field environments when needed.
