Job Opportunity: Lead Cardiac Specialist
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, delivering expert cardiac services.
* Conduct thorough assessments and interventions for patients with cardiac conditions.
* Lead and perform comprehensive cardiac tests, including stress testing and echocardiography.
* Deputise for the senior lead and interface effectively with consultants, GPs, nurses, and other staff to coordinate patient care and diagnostic pathways.
* Present and communicate results clearly, ensuring timely follow-up.
* Attend multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences to contribute clinical insights and support research and teaching initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant professional qualifications and experience in cardiac physiology. A minimum of 3 years full-time relevant post-qualification experience is required. The candidate must also demonstrate effective planning and organisational skills, including awareness of value for money, ability to manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A degree in cardiac physiology or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as CARDIO PHYSIOLOGIST, are highly desirable.
