The role holder must have:
* Proven experience in travel management, preferably within a construction or related industry.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) .
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Knowledge of international travel regulations and experience in managing cross-border travel arrangements is an advantage.
* Valid driver's license
Role Responsibilities:
Travel Management:
* Arrange travel itineraries for employees and project teams, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
* Ensure travel arrangements are cost-effective and align with company policies.
* Provide support for visa applications and travel documentation as required.
Event Planning
* Plan, organise, and manage company events, including meetings and team-building activities.
* Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
* Prepare event materials, manage RSVPs, and handle on-site support.
Administrative Support:
* Maintain and update travel and event databases, including booking systems and contact lists.
* Process and track invoices related to travel and events, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
* Provide administrative support to the project teams and senior management as needed.
Communication and Coordination:
* Act as the point of contact for travel and event-related inquiries from internal teams and external partners.
* Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Prepare reports and summaries on travel and event activities for management review.
Compliance and Reporting:
* Ensure all travel and event activities comply with company policies and procedures.
* Monitor and report on travel expenses and event budgets.
