Our client, a national membership-based financial services organisation are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic Finance team.This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a mission-driven organisation.You will play a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of group financial operations across multiple entities. You will lead the accounts receivable function, oversee month-end reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and act as deputy to the Finance Manager. The role combines hands-on financial control with opportunities to influence process improvement and system optimisation in Sage Intacct.With offices in Dublin 2, they are opperating with a hybrid working model and offering a competitive salary.ResponsibilitiesLead the full accounts receivable and credit control cycle across multiple entities.Manage direct debit and EFT processes for recurring income streams.Review and approve AR postings, journals, and reconciliations.Oversee daily bank reconciliations and authorise payments and intercompany transfers.Maintain accurate financial records, control accounts, and compliance with VAT and tax timelines.Coordinate month-end close, prepare management accounts, and support audit processes.Strengthen internal controls and enhance finance procedures and system workflows.Provide financial insight to senior leadership on income trends and working capital.Supervise and mentor an Accounts Assistant.Deputise for the Finance Manager as required.RequirementsQualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with 3+ years' PQE.Strong grounding in financial operations, reconciliations, and control environments.Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.Experience in a group or multi-entity environment is an advantage.
