Job Opportunity

The role of Fisheries Officer involves safeguarding, managing and preserving Ireland's freshwater fisheries and sea angling resources.



Main Responsibilities:

* Patrol lakes, rivers, estuaries to monitor compliance with fishing regulations
* Detect report pollution take samples gather information to inform conservation efforts
----------------------------------- Fisheries Conservation: This position is responsible for the implementation enforcement of provisions in the Fisheries Acts Water Pollution Acts Water Framework Directive other relevant statutory provisions.
Key Areas include Implementation Enforcement Habitat Improvement Conservation Development Schemes Surveillance Activities etc....This predominantly outdoors role requires individuals comfortable working in diverse weather conditions near bodies of water.
