Job Opportunity
This support worker role is open to HSE and non-HSE applicants. The position is based in Arklow, County Wicklow, and is offered under a Specified Purpose Wholetime contract.
Qualifications and Skills
Full QQI Level 5 Health Care Qualification (health, community, or care sector) – essential.
Passion for providing person‑centred support – key to success.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Awareness of the Key Worker/Support Worker role and philosophy for supporting people with complex needs.
Programme planning and creation of person‑centred care plans.
Focus on the person’s needs in all activities.
Deliver support according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
Full, clean driver’s licence – desirable.
