GIS Officer Job Description
The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team is seeking a skilled GIS Officer to implement, develop, and administer the centre’s new ArcGIS Online EU environment.

* Job Summary: Implement and develop the centre’s new ArcGIS Online EU environment, supporting staff in the roll out and use of ArcGIS Pro, working closely with the Head of Digital Services to administer and develop the FME Flow environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and Develop ArcGIS Online Environment: Design, implement, and maintain the centre's new ArcGIS Online EU environment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Support Staff in ArcGIS Pro Rollout: Provide expert guidance and training to staff on the effective use of ArcGIS Pro, ensuring they are proficient in using the software.
Collaborate with Head of Digital Services: Work closely with the Head of Digital Services to develop and administer the FME Flow environment, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes.
Develop Business Solutions: Analyze business requirements and design effective solutions using GIS technology, delivering value-added products and services to support the organization's strategic objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed as a GIS Officer, you will need:
* Strong technical knowledge of GIS software and technologies;
* Demonstrated experience in implementing and developing complex GIS environments;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues;
* A bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
