Financial Reporting Oversight Manager

Responsibilities
* Monitor draft financial statements completion and oversee the audit process to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
* Review interim and year‑end financial statements for UCITS & AIF products, primarily for funds domiciled in Luxembourg.
* Build relationships with auditors and manage audit queries, findings and management letters to ensure timely resolution.
* Engage with Administrators, Investment Managers and Depositaries to address identified issues during the audit or interim reporting process.
* Support reporting to the Management Committee and Board of Directors as required.
* Participate in the preparation of internal and external reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
* Identify, design and implement procedures as required; lead change to maintain operational effectiveness.
* Maintain excellent relationships with fund delegates including investment managers and administrators.
* Adapt to new tasks and processes, ensuring continuous performance to required standards.
* Provide feedback to the IT Development Team to evolve technology platforms for regulatory reporting.
* Foster a positive team ethic and support staff development when required.
* Oversee capital adequacy reporting and related issues.
* People manager: supervise junior staff, plan workload and manage performance.
* Coordinate and lead team‑based projects and participate in larger projects as required.
* Primary escalation contact for financial reporting items for Luxembourg contracted funds.
Qualifications
* 5+ years relevant industry experience in a funds service or fund management organization.
* Strong knowledge of funds and/or Management Company activities including UCITS and AIFMD regulations.
* Recognised professional or third‑level qualification relevant to the role; an accounting qualification is advantageous.
* Ability to assess technical requirements on financial reporting issues and resolve with stakeholders.
* Prior financial reporting experience – reviews of Fund financial statements and knowledge of accounting standards and structures.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting requirements for funds; preference for Lux GAAP.
* Proficiency using MS Office applications.
* Knowledge of fund structures, regulatory requirements and deadlines.
* Knowledge of audit management process.
