Occupational Therapist Job Description
This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the rehabilitation and support of older adults.
As a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in need. This includes assessing patients' physical, cognitive, psychological, and social needs, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and carrying out functional assessments for activities of daily living (ADLs). You will also provide individual and group rehabilitation programs to support recovery and discharge planning.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to older patients.
* Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans to promote independence and maximize functional ability.
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' ADLs and develop targeted interventions.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated care and support.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with older adults in an acute setting and possess strong communication skills. A full driver's license and access to a vehicle are also required.
