The Senior Director of Quality and Patient Safety is a senior leadership role that plays a critical part in shaping the organization's quality, patient safety, and risk management strategy.
This key position will lead the design and implementation of quality, safety, and risk strategies aligned to the organization's goals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in incident and risk management frameworks, root cause analysis, and after-action reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years' senior managerial experience in an acute hospital in-patient setting with responsibilities in quality and patient safety.
* A third-level qualification in a clinical field or a QQI Level 8 or higher academic award in Risk Management or Quality in Healthcare (or equivalent).
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
