Overview A vacancy exists for a FP&A Accountant within PM Group's Finance Function reporting to the FP&A Manager. This role will have responsibility for providing detailed analysis and insights to support decision making and improve financial performance. The role can be based in Dublin or Cork. Responsibilities Will include but not be limited to: Reporting - assist with preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Design, develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI to monitor performance. Provide insightful analysis on KPIs to key stakeholders. Compile detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Performing various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function. Budget & Forecasting - Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes, deal with budget stakeholders, analyse data, provide insights and make recommendations. Support Business Transformation projects, including the implementation of a new ERP system, by assisting with testing and rollout.. Liaising with external parties, including the Group Auditor, on a variety of reporting requirements and submissions. Perform a variety of other finance related duties as required. Qualifications Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with a hands-on commercial attitude and a keen attention to detail. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role. Ability to adapt and problem solve quickly in a changing and dynamic environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and accounting software. Experienced ERP user.
