In summer 2026, we're opening Ómós; a 16-bedroom guesthouse and 40-seat restaurant set on 4.2 acres, just outside the heritage town of Abbeyleix in County Laois.
The name Ómós (meaning honour, duty and respect) embodies the intention behind our project: to create something lasting and meaningful, something with soul.
A guesthouse and restaurant that feel like they belong, fully immersed in our neighbourhood and community, generously welcoming curiosity, craft and discovery.
As we prepare for our opening, we are now seeking an exceptional hospitality professional to step into the key role of General Manager for our guesthouse.
Experience in a high-end hospitality leadership role is a must.
We are looking for a great communicator with a genuine care for people and someone who enjoys creating and upholding standards and excellence.
You will form part of our leadership team, fostering a positive and hard-working culture, helping to create and shape Ómós Guesthouse from the outset.
As our General Manager, you will work closely with the Owner to oversee and support all aspects of the Guesthouse during our pre-opening phase.
This includes contributing to strategic planning, assisting with the recruitment and training of our people, establishing operational procedures, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring the property is ready for our launch in June 2026.
This is an opportunity to grow with a group that values integrity, creativity and genuine hospitality; a place where your talent is celebrated and nurtured.
