The Role

This role leads the organisation's Corporate Social Responsibility agenda, embedding sustainability, ethical practices, and community engagement across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

* Designing, implementing, and monitoring the CSR strategy aligned with business objectives and environmental goals
* Integrating CSR initiatives into core operations and long-term strategy in collaboration with senior leadership
* Overseeing delivery and evaluation of CSR programmes, tracking impact and performance metrics
* Preparing and presenting CSR reports for senior management and key stakeholders
* Working with Communications & Engagement teams on sponsorships, PR, and awareness campaigns
* Leading community engagement initiatives, including education programmes, consultations, and volunteer activity
* Managing the Accelerate Green programme, including start-up/SME supports, conferences, partners, and alumni engagement
* Managing the CSR budget and ensuring effective allocation of funding
* Building partnerships with communities, public bodies, and non-profits
* Promoting ED&I and fostering a strong internal culture of social and environmental responsibility
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and governance requirements

About You

You are a strategic, people-focused CSR professional with strong stakeholder and community engagement experience.

You will ideally have:

* A Level 8 Honours degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline
* 5+ years' relevant industry experience with a proven track record
* Strong experience in CSR strategy development and programme delivery
* Background in community engagement on major infrastructure or renewable energy projects
* Excellent written, verbal, and media communication skills
* Experience in brand, reputation, and stakeholder management
* Strong people management and leadership capability
* Project management experience (professional qualification desirable)
* High attention to detail and ability to deliver to tight deadlines
* Strong planning, analytical, and organisational skills
* Flexibility to support community engagement outside standard working hours
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
