Job Summary:
We are looking for a technical sales professional with experience of selling bespoke manufactured products and processes to a global client base.
This individual will be responsible for building, supporting and maintaining relationships with our existing customers, new customers and internal departmental teams.
Key responsibilities will include
· Overseeing the entire sales cycle from project estimating and supply of product through to post-sale support for complex after market and spare part industrial products.
· Client relationship management.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing and international clients.
This includes understanding their technical and process requirements to propose tailored solutions.
· Providing Excellent levels of communication (verbal, written, video, person to person) to customers and internal departments.
· Cross-functional collaboration.
Working with internal teams including senior management, production, procurement, engineering, planning, quality, shipping and accounts to ensure seamless delivery and support for clients.
Customer satisfaction.
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by following up on issues and coordinating after-sales support, such as calibration and after sales services.
Managing Internal Sales admin team to ensure all customer sales orders are received, acknowledged and entered on to 'M1' ERP system with correct quantities, delivery lead times, product specifications, BOM's and revisions etc.
Managing and maintaining customer databases & portals
· Act as the point of contact and handle customers' individual needs
· Technical expertise.
Liaising with the engineering Dept for clients, translating complex product features and functionalities into understandable benefits.
Reporting on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to senior leadership.
· Prepare and generate sales reports, including sales performance and customer analytics.
· Provide regular updates on sales metrics to the senior management team.
· Managing customer order books with high volumes of order lines and reporting on same
· Providing detailed information to customers in a timely fashion
· Resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner
· Reporting on the status of accounts and transactions
· Tracking sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
· Monitoring sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
· Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
Requirements:
7 + years in key technical account management roles.
Advanced knowledge of Order Processing and ERP systems.
Experience with Manufacturing based ERP systems an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team environment.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Excellent Communication skills
Hands on experience in technical sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
Experience in Aerospace or similar industry such as automotive or medical a distinct advantage
Knowledge of CRM software
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
BSc degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
