The Role
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our conveyor and automation division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in electrical engineering while working towards a recognised trade qualification. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience working alongside experienced electricians and automation specialists on the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within automated conveyor equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the installation, wiring, and commissioning of conveyor and automation systems.
* Support the maintenance, testing, and fault-finding of electrical equipment and controls.
* Learn to work with control panels, sensors, motors, and PLC-driven systems.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
* Use a variety of electrical hand tools, meters, and testing equipment.
* Follow strict health and safety standards at all times.
* Participate in both on-the-job learning and structured apprenticeship training.
