Job Summary
The Managing Director of Suretank Ireland Ltd will lead the Irish business with full responsibility for its commercial, operational, people and financial performance. This role requires broad experience across modular/off‑site manufacturing (OSM) and a strong sales‑centric mindset, ensuring the company continues to grow its presence in the modular market while delivering high‑quality products and exceptional customer satisfaction.
As the senior leader of the Irish entity, the Managing Director will provide strategic oversight across Finance, People & Organisation Development, Operations, and Sales, with each function led by a dedicated head of department reporting directly into this role. This Managing Director will drive commercial strategy requiring a leader who is both strategically minded and hands‑on in driving sales opportunities, customer relationships, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
Act as Managing Director for the Irish entity, setting and executing the strategic direction for Suretank Ireland Ltd.
Lead the commercial agenda with a strong sales orientation, driving revenue growth and market expansion within the modular/OSM sector.
Work closely with the Sales team to ensure accurate project handover, scope clarity, and alignment with customer expectations.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments relevant to modular manufacturing.
Represent the Irish business in commercial negotiations, customer engagements, and industry forums.
Operational & Production Leadership
Provide strategic leadership and direction across Production, Engineering, and Project Delivery, ensuring these functions operate as a cohesive, high‑performance organisation aligned to the company's strategic objectives.
Ensure the flawless execution of all modular/OSM programmes, delivering safely, on schedule, within budget, and to uncompromising quality standards that reinforce Suretank Ireland's reputation for excellence. Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, workflow, and operational efficiency.
Champion a culture of operational excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance and strengthen overall operational efficiency.
Ensure seamless cross‑functional alignment across the company enabling integrated planning, efficient execution and consistent delivery of customer commitments.
Customer Satisfaction & Delivery Excellence
Champion a culture of customer excellence, ensuring all projects meet or exceed customer expectations.
Act as senior escalation point for key customers when required.
Ensure robust project governance, milestone tracking, and delivery reporting to achieve 100% ontime, high‑quality delivery.
Financial & Business Performance
Hold full P&L responsibility for Suretank Ireland Ltd.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the Irish entity.
Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure cost control, margin protection, and efficient resource allocation across the business.
People Leadership & Culture
Provide visionary leadership to the Irish leadership team and broader organisation, developing talent, strengthening capability, and ensuring the business is equipped to deliver on its strategic objectives.
Cultivate a high‑performance culture grounded in accountability, safety, cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring operational excellence is embedded at every level of the organisation.
Champion clear, consistent, and transparent communication across the organisation, ensuring alignment, engagement, and shared ownership of business priorities.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with Irish legislation, health & safety standards, and industry regulations.
Strengthen and uphold a robust internal control environment and governance framework that ensures transparency, compliance, and disciplined financial and operational management across the organisation.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational, commercial, and project‑related risks, ensuring the organisation maintains resilience, protects value, and delivers on its strategic commitments.
Stakeholder Engagement
Report to the Board on performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic progress.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, shareholders and local stakeholders.
Represent Suretank Ireland Ltd in relevant external engagements.

Skills & Experience Required
Proven senior leadership experience within modular construction, OSM, engineering, or manufacturing.
Strong commercial acumen with a financial‑driven mindset and a track record of building commercial value and driving revenue growth.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams including production, engineering, and project management.
Experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead a business through growth, change, and operational scaling.

Experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment.
Background in commercial or financial disciplines in manufacturing environments.
Experience implementing operational excellence or continuous improvement programmes.
