Function
We currently have an exciting opportunity within the Distribution Department in Grange Castle for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor. This role reports directly into the Shift Manager and will provide daily support. You will be responsible for the picking, packing and loading of all deliveries/vehicles within accordance with Health and Safety and Technical requirements. Responsible for the upkeep and presentation of the warehouse and surrounding areas. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday shift pattern.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsibility for the picking/packing and distribution of loose case pick and also FP dispatch when covering.
* Enforce and promote Health and Safety and ensure all staff members are trained to complete their tasks.
* Responsible for ensuring all orders are loaded efficiently, correctly and within line with Health and Safety and Technical requirements.
* Working closely with other shifts/departments to ensure Warehouse and Operations runs smoothly.
* Responsible for Housekeeping across all areas of the Warehouse when covering shift.
* Reporting to Shift Manager on a daily basis
* Provide support to ensure Service levels are met, 99.5%.
* Accountability for all stock in warehouse- replen into locations and correct rotation when covering shift.
* All equipment must be monitored and all damages recorded and reported.
* When required collating and sending daily reports to Management/other departments.
* Provide daily support to Shift Supervisor and Manager in all areas to ensure the operations funs safely and correctly.
* Health and Safety focused

* Fork truck/PPT license and experience.

* Cold stores/Warehousing experience
