Programme Director Role
The Programme Director is a key academic leader within the institution, responsible for leading and continuing the development of our MA in Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy programme.
This leadership position entails overall responsibility for the academic integrity of the programme, ensuring that it meets quality assurance standards and accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Design, develop, provision, and quality assure all modules within the programme.
* Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Strategy: Develop and implement a Teaching, Learning, and Assessment strategy for the programme (in consultation with the Academic Council).
* Assessment Management: Manage the assessment process to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency.
* Resource Allocation: Resource the programme in consultation with the management team to ensure its smooth operation.
* Accreditation and Compliance: Communicate accreditation and professional standards body requirements and meet those requirements.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality assurance policies and procedures within the IICP College Quality Assurance Framework.
* Implementation and Strategy: Implement QA policies and procedures and organisational strategy to enhance programme delivery.
* Faculty Management: Recruit, select, train, and manage both faculty and adjunct faculty where required.
* Professional Development: Keep current with developments in their field and assess their potential impact on the programme.
* Programme Promotion: Raise the profile of the programme through research, publications, conference proceedings, and networking.
* Representation: Represent the programme to the Academic Board.
* Monitoring and Review: On-going monitoring and review, planning, and reporting to ensure programme effectiveness.
