Maintenance Team Leader
The Maintenance Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of a facility or site. This key position supports the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the site, guaranteeing it runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
* IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance lead
* Coaching teams to optimize performance
* Facilitating process improvements to drive business growth
* In the absence of the Maintenance Manager, taking on full maintenance manager responsibilities to ensure continuity of operations
Specifically, this role involves managing and directing day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team, including determining needed repairs and improvements, establishing project priorities, and assigning work tasks to schedule work effectively. The Maintenance Team Leader will oversee the execution of all maintenance tasks, both planned and reactive, while aligning with operational and company objectives through regular team meetings.
Requirements:
* Relevant City & Guilds qualification as a minimum (Electrical preferable)
* 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
* Proven experience of a leadership position of a maintenance or engineering team
* Excellent people management and coaching skills
* Ability to manage a team and prioritize maintenance schedules effectively
* A comprehensive technical background and competence
