Senior MEP Building Services Engineer – DublinMain Contractor | Residential & Commercial ProjectsA leading main contractor in Dublin is seeking a Senior MEP / Building Services Engineer to oversee MEP delivery across large-scale residential and commercial developments. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can run MEP packages on site, manage subcontractors, and drive quality through to handover.Role & ResponsibilitiesTake full responsibility for the coordination and delivery of MEP services from design through construction and commissioning.Manage MEP subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, specifications, and quality standards.Review and coordinate MEP design drawings, technical submittals, and RFIs in conjunction with design teams and consultants.Chair and contribute to MEP coordination meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.Monitor progress against programme, identify risks early, and implement corrective actions where required.Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, BCAR, fire safety, and health & safety requirements.Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover of MEP systems.Provide technical support to site management and commercial teams as required.RequirementsDegree-qualified in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.8+ years' experience in MEP / Building Services roles, ideally with a main contractor or large M&E contractor.Proven experience delivering MEP packages on residential and/or commercial projects.Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, BCAR, fire safety, and commissioning processes.Confident managing multiple subcontractors and complex interfaces.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.PackageHighly competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term pipeline of Dublin-based residential and commercial projects.Senior role with real influence over project delivery, not a desk job.
