Overview:This company is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer for a 12-month contract role, primarily focused on project work within a dynamic and supportive Facilities team.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and support facilities-related projects, primarily in the EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) space.
Oversee and implement improvements to air quality systems and other environmental controls.
Manage and deliver sub-€100k capital projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution.
Liaise with cross-functional teams and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
Ensure all projects are compliant with regulatory and company standards.
Requirements:5+ years' experience in a Facilities Engineering role, ideally within a regulated environment (pharma/med device/manufacturing).
Strong project management skills and the ability to take initiative with minimal supervision.
Proven experience delivering EHS-related infrastructure or facility upgrades.
Must be based within 1 hour 15 minutes of Athlone – remote working not an option.
Immediate availability preferred.
