We also cross-sell the full range of wholesale products and services offered by the Scotiabank Group.Programme OverviewScotiabank offers an exciting opportunity to join the Dublin-based Business Risk Management team with a focus on the Global Banking & Markets division of a global bank headquartered in Canada commencing in June 2026.This 10-week programme will offer unique insights into many of the Bank's business areas, allow you to learn the nature of the non-financial risk and control framework that protects the Bank, and enable you to understand how Business Risk Management oversees the strategies employed by the Bank to mitigate risks.What You Can ExpectAssist with implementing the control framework in the first lineHelp to administer various monitoring activitiesPrepare periodic reports for onward presentationLiaise with other control and support functions to co-ordinate approaches to risk mitigationPool and manipulate sources of data for analysis and reportingWork on new initiatives designed to enhance business performanceReview the local regulatory environment within which the bank operatesAssisting in third party management riskTest existing control effectivenessComplete an intern project assignment and present it to the wider teamAny other ad hoc work tasks assigned by managementProgramme HighlightsOur internship is designed to give you real insight into life at Scotiabank.
