Solutions Architect
Dublin City – 2 days onsite. Global Consultancy. Java development background required. Salary €80k - €90k base + 20% bonus + health + pension.
We’re seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Java to join a fast-growing technology consultancy team working on large-scale transformation projects for high-profile clients across multiple industries.

The Role
* Develop high-level architecture and design for complex systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, promoting best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimisation.
* Design and oversee the integration of Java-based applications and other technologies.
* Work closely with clients, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
* Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks that best meet client needs.
* Produce detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and design guidelines.
* Contribute to strategic planning and help shape the direction of technology solutions across projects.
About You
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Proven experience designing and delivering complex Java-based solutions.
* Strong understanding of architectural patterns and software design principles.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
* Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and middleware technologies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are advantageous.
* Consultancy or client-facing experience is highly desirable.
* Additional experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, .NET) is a plus.
