Mechanical Quantity Surveyor required to join an Irish Contractor on a Life Sciences Project in Athlone. You will report directly into the Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities:
Review and evaluate subcontractor agreements and contracts, focusing on risk assessment, scheduling, terms and conditions, design accountability, and other critical factors.
Develop a Tender Risk Analysis using the standard template, and manage contract documentation, including the bill of quantities.
Identify, assess, and create strategies for addressing commercial risks.
Prepare and deliver monthly project and business review reports, adhering to company standards and formats.
Assist in generating monthly commercial reports.
Measure, price, and monitor variations for client submissions.
Measure, price, and track tender submissions promptly.
Requirements:
A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering.
4 Years' experience in a similar role.
Experience working Mechanical packages on commercial and/or healthcare projects would be beneficial.
A proven working knowledge of current contract law.
IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
The successful Quantity Surveyor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and eligible to work in Ireland without the need for a permit.
