Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will provide valuable market insights to support manufacturing and market growth. The role offers autonomy and involves collaboration across supply chain, brand, and finance teams, with minimal travel.
The Commercial Data Analyst will analyze market data and trends to inform strategic decisions, working closely with demand planning and stakeholders in various markets. This role is a 14-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-depth market analysis, including supply/demand dynamics and emerging trends.
* Identify growth opportunities through data analysis.
* Analyze long-term data, including 36-month and 5-year projections.
* Understand market demand roll-ups.
* Support demand forecasting and market outlooks.
* Prepare reports and presentations for management.
* Assess external factors impacting business performance.
* Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to identify risks and opportunities.
* Represent data clearly for decision-making.
* Work with cross-functional teams on strategy development.
* Assist in analyzing data for Capex decisions.
Requirements:
* Degree in a numerical, analytical, or financial discipline (e.g., Commerce, Economics, Finance).
* 3-5 years of experience in finance, economics, or business administration, preferably in FMCG.
* Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and critical thinking.
* Excellent communication skills to articulate insights.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, BI, and database management.
* Knowledge of statistical software and data visualization tools is advantageous.
* Self-motivated and collaborative team player.
