Description
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access for our customers. We work on challenging problems and are looking for talented individuals to join us.
You will join a diverse team of engineers, security experts, and operations managers, collaborating across AWS to maintain safety, security, and capacity at optimal costs. We foster an inclusive culture that welcomes innovation and empowers ownership.
We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented Network Technician to support network infrastructure deployment, working with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment to expand our next-generation networks.
The role involves supporting multiple data center locations, managing capacity, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflow
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve project obstacles
3. Troubleshoot networking, routing, and connectivity issues, including device configuration
4. Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues
5. Specify power and cooling requirements, hardware racking, and stacking
6. Complete customer requests via Remedy ticketing system
7. Participate in migration, configuration, and rollout of hardware

Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
* Experience in networking
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with customer problem resolution and working under pressure
* Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards and troubleshooting methods
