Role: SAP PM Consultant Location: Dublin, Ireland Is it Permanent/ Contract: Contract – 1year extendible Salary Budget: Best reasonable market rate Is it Onsite/Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to support and enhance existing SAP PM solutions.
The consultant will work closely with an established PM Application Manager, contributing functional expertise across standard and customized PM processes.
This role requires strong knowledge of maintenance processes and master data, along with the ability to support functional specifications and ongoing system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities Provide functional support for SAP PM applications, ensuring stable and effective BAU operations.
Support and enhance maintenance processing activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
Manage and maintain SAP PM master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Work across a mix of standard SAP PM functionality and bespoke/customized processes.
Collaborate with the PM Application Manager to support system improvements and change initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of functional specifications and support ongoing enhancements and development activities.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP PM solutions.
Support testing activities, including unit testing and user acceptance testing.
Provide functional guidance to business users and contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.
Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices and business requirements.
Required Skills Experience Strong hands-on experience as an SAP PM Consultant.
In-depth knowledge of maintenance processing and PM master data.
Proven experience supporting both standard and customized SAP PM processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with application managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have Familiarity with ABAP concepts to support functional specifications and ongoing development (no hands-on programming required).
Experience working in complex or highly customized SAP PM environments.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PM.
