On behalf of a highly respected and growing accountancy firm, I am seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their specialist team in Trim. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple business sectors within a professional, supportive environment.
The Role
The primary objective is to ensure the accurate and timely completion of payroll assignments for a dedicated client portfolio. You will work closely with the Payroll and Bookkeeping Managers to deliver a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Processing: Manage weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and annual payroll for a varied client portfolio.
* Compliance & Reconciliation: Prepare and reconcile payroll and pension returns.
* Client Advisory: Act as a point of contact for client queries and provide efficient support.
* Financial Execution: Complete online bank salary payments and ensure all tax outputs meet strict deadlines.
* Departmental Support: Assist the wider accounts and bookkeeping departments, including off-site payroll tasks as required.
* Value-Add: Identify opportunities to provide additional services that benefit your clients.
The Requirements
* Qualified: IPASS qualification is essential.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a busy payroll department, ideally in a practice environment.
* Software: Proficient working knowledge of BrightPay and ROS.
* Technical Skills: Strong reconciliation skills and the ability to handle multiple clients while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
