Our client, a leading global player in the food industry, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee and manage key accounts in the Irish market.
This is a strategic role within their global sales organisation based in their Dublin Sales Office.
As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and maintaining relationships with key retail and foodservice clients in Ireland. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies that contribute to the growth and profitability of the business while managing day-to-day sales operations and client interactions.

* Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage daily operations within the sales branch, overseeing team performance and implementing sales strategies.
* Achieve sales objectives, ensuring both turnover and profitability targets are met.
* Lead negotiations and finalise sales agreements, with an emphasis on long-term contracts and annual deals.
* Introduce new product lines and innovative solutions to existing customers to drive growth.
* Optimise the product portfolio to align with profitability goals and key commercial KPIs.
* Proactively manage and resolve customer complaints, ensuring efficient problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
* Identify opportunities for Private Label solutions in the retail sector, taking into consideration production and packaging aspects.
* Develop and implement sales strategies and analytics to accelerate revenue growth and enhance data-driven decision-making.
* Monitor, forecast, and report on sales performance, budget adherence, and market opportunities.
* Leverage customer insights to identify new sales opportunities and areas of improvement.
* Work closely with internal teams, both nationally and internationally, across various functions such as marketing, R&D, and production.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in retail and foodservice companies, including purchasing, marketing, and R&D teams.
Requirements:
* Master’s degree in Business Economics or a related field.
* Proven track record in international B2B sales, with a focus on the Retail and Foodservice sectors, particularly within the food industry or FMCG.
* Familiarity with data analysis tools such as BI cubes and Power BI.
* In-depth understanding of market trends and developments in the food sector.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, communicate clearly, and build trust.
* Strong hands-on approach with a genuine passion for food, agriculture, and an interest in production and packaging processes.
