Job Title:
A highly skilled Occupational Therapist is required to lead the way in patient care. Based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, this opportunity offers a senior role with flexibility to work in either a community or acute hospital setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in both settings and be able to provide advanced OT assessment, treatment planning, and interventions. They will also support complex discharges, rehabilitation goals, and person-centred care plans, as well as collaborate effectively as part of an MDT across pathways.

Clinical Responsibilities:
* Provide advanced OT assessment, treatment planning, and interventions
* Support complex discharges, rehabilitation goals, and person-centred care plans
* Collaborate effectively as part of an MDT across acute and/or community pathways
* Lead service development initiatives and participate in audits and quality improvement projects
* Offer clinical supervision and support to junior colleagues and students
* Maintain high-quality clinical records in accordance with HSE and CORU standards
Essential Requirements:
* CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (HSE senior criteria)
* Experience in one or more of the following areas: community, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, older persons
* Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical reasoning skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
