Job Description
On behalf of our client, leaders in external joinery, we are seeking a Finance Manager to lead their finance department. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Dundalk.
This is a senior post, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
Ensuring all company reports are issued in accordance with deadlines – weekly/monthly variance reports, productivity, key cost controls, financial data
Prepare monthly management accounts and monthly consolidated reports, detailed variance analysis and commentary on actual Vs budget
Process and maintain ledgers in Zoho books
Providing planning and cost controlling support for all projects
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Review and analysis of overhead spend and forecast of future spend
Develop and build management dashboards and KPI reports in Zoho books as the business expands and develops
Preparation and filing of VAT returns
Ad-hoc process improvements and systems projects
Qualifications / Experience
Qualified accountant with 3+ years industry experience will be considered
Experience in using an ERP/ accounts software package preferably Zoho Books
Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Must be able to work effectively both as part of a team and individually.
Competent in IT, MS Office including medium to advanced Excel ability with strong analytical capability.
Ability to work on their own initiative with a focus on process and system improvements
