Key Responsibilities
Our Blue Chip Insurance client is looking for a QA Test Lead. It will be hybrid working in Dublin and will be an initial 12 month contract with extensions likely.
Co-ordinating day to day testing activities in a team or project
Creating test plans – with care given to looking ahead where a planned build covers multiple sprints
Overseeing test execution by QA Testers
Collaborating with developers and business analysts to clarify and, where necessary, challenge requirements
Training & Mentoring QA Testers
Supporting test execution as a QA Tester when required
Technical
Apply ISQTB testing foundation principles
Execute GUI and API based testing
Create and maintain Collections in Postman used to test APIs or perform test case setup
Understanding simple JavaScript
Desirable
Use Jira and Postman
Co-ordinate QA Testers
Explore opportunities to improve testing efficiencies through tooling
Understand the relationship between manual and automated testing
