The Galway Bay Hotel invites applications for the position of Breakfast Chef to join our Kitchen team. This position will require an immediate start and candidates must be available to work weekends.
Duties:
* Contribute to the production of food items according to menu specifications
* Be aware of and prepared for the business in house every day
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to agreed standards
* Avoid unnecessary wastage and follow portion planning and control and to act in a cost effective, responsible manner
* Ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service
* Follow and adhere to HACCP compliance within the kitchen and all Food & Beverage outlets
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* 1 years similar experience in a 4* property
* Possess a solid knowledge of Breakfast Service
* Ability to work in a busy pressurised environment
* Have a strong knowledge of HACCP
