We are looking for a diligent Commercial Manager to provide support to our growing Communications Division.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Delivery the Commercial Manager will work closely with operational and finance teams in Viatel, they will be responsible for ensuring best commercial outcome in all dealings with both suppliers and customers.
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and negotiation capabilities, business acumen, highly organised and with excellent relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
Establish ongoing systems and procedures to ensure best practice procurement and commercial management
Commercially validate new and renewing business ensuring acceptable revenue and margin levels
Track customer renewals on an ******** days out basis and work with account management team to draft commercially attractive terms
Develop ongoing relationships with key Viatel suppliers to drive best possible commercial outcome
Deliver accurate monthly commercial reports
Assist with annual procurement budgeting and commercially astute buying practice
Ongoing invoice approval, revenue assurance & dispute resolution
Manage portfolio of nationwide high sites along with analysis of group wide electricity spend
Assist in credit request approval / sign off
Documentation/Contracts management
Financial modelling & Commercial sign off
Work in tandem with Service Delivery team to ensure projects are being delivered on budget and assist in mitigating any cost overruns
Location:
The position can be based out of one of our nationwide hubs, operating under a hybrid model of working.
Minimum 2 days per week in office.
Role requirements:
You will have a solid background in the Telecommunications industry with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with both external and internal stake holders.
You should possess excellent negotiation skills, a high level of diligence and a passion for ensuring best possible commercial outcome in all dealings.
