We're hiring an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support a regulated production environment at our Galway facility.About the RoleYou'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a highly regulated manufacturing site, ensuring equipment, utilities, and facilities operate smoothly. This is a hands-on position where you'll work closely with the Site Lead and Production team to troubleshoot issues, support production uptime, and carry out both planned and reactive maintenance.What You'll DoCarry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and site facilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issuesManage equipment servicing schedules and documentationPerform calibrations and support validation activitiesSupport utilities such as compressed air, RO/mains water, and air handling systemsCoordinate with third-party contractors when requiredImplement improvements to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiencyHandle minor facilities work (e.g., small repairs, hardware fixes, painting)Ensure compliance with all site Health & Safety and Quality requirementsWhat You BringElectrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification or relevant technical diplomaStrong hands-on experience in equipment maintenance within manufacturing, field service, or production environmentsKnowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic systemsExperience diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutionsAbility to work independently and support a small, collaborative site teamProactive approach with strong organisation and problem-solving skillsDesirable:Experience with HVAC systems or cleanroom environmentsCalibration or validation experienceComputer literacy / familiarity with maintenance systemsIf you're a Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician, Field Service Engineer, or a trades professional looking to move into a stable on-site role, we'd love to hear from you.
