Environmental Consultant
to join our team as part of our growing Inspections Service division.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will help deliver impactful environmental and social outcomes for clients across the public and private sectors.
The Role
As an Environmental Consultant, you will deliver a diverse range of environmental projects, assessments, and inspection activities. This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with confidence.
You will:
* Lead and support environmental projects across
waste, water, energy, and circular economy
sectors
* Carry out compliance assessments and environmental inspections in line with national legislation and client requirements
* Review and interpret legislation, technical guidance, and environmental research
* Produce high-quality reports, specifications, and client updates
* Provide expert advice, technical support, and training on environmental management and compliance
* Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up
* Support multi-annual contract delivery and stay up to date with evolving environmental regulations

About You
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a collaborative, proactive approach.
You'll bring:
* Minimum
3 years' experience
in the environmental or waste sector, including audits and inspections
* NFQ Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) in an environmental discipline
* Proven project management experience, particularly in planning and delivering audits/inspections
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage client relationships professionally and confidently
* Full, clean manual driving licence
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
* Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team
* A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes with attention to detail
