Job Title: Reservations Supervisor
We are currently recruiting a Reservations Supervisor to join our team.
This role is responsible for maximising revenue through effective reservations management, driving occupancy, average rate and market share performance. Key responsibilities include:
* Handle all individual direct reservations and small groups.
* Respond to all enquiries, ensuring timely submission of quotations to clients and systematic follow-up of all enquiries/quotations.
* Manage all bookings from provisional booking stage through to final bill payment and acknowledgement.
* Ensure all emails are handled and managed efficiently.
* Encourage and develop relationships with new and existing clients, working closely with the sales department to drive business for all departments.
* Liaise with and work closely with the Revenue Manager.
* Participate in and contribute to regular Sales & Revenue meetings and ensure all relevant reports are timely and accurate.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in the Reservations department of a large hotel with a mix of leisure, corporate and function business. Further attributes include:
* Excellent communication skills with fluent written and verbal English.
* Genuine commitment to delivering top levels of guest service.
* Strong systems knowledge, experience with Guestline PMS an advantage.
* Team player.
* Keen attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
