Food Service Assistant – Punchestown, Co. Kildare
30+ hours per week | 5 days over 7
Lily & Wild are recruiting experienced Food Service Assistants (FSA) to join our growing team at our new venue in Punchestown, Co. Kildare.
We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals who take pride in great service, teamwork, and high standards.
What the role involves:
* Assisting with the preparation and service of meals, ensuring correct portioning and presentation to company standards
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy kitchen and food service area
* Ensuring all food is served at the correct temperature and looks appealing
* Minimising food waste and handling all products safely and efficiently
* Clearing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
* Washing equipment, surfaces, and floors to maintain hygiene standards
* Working as part of a positive, supportive team to create a great working environment
Hours:
* 30+ hours per week, working 5 days over 7
* Availability required between 7:30am and 7:00pm
* Please note: Punchestown is not accessible by public transport, so applicants must have their own transport
Requirements:
* Ideally 2+ years' experience in a similar role (e.g. catering, café, or corporate canteen setting)
* Good understanding of food presentation and service standards
* Experience in basic food preparation is an advantage
* Food hygiene training preferred but not essential
