Ensure the safety of guests, fellow employees and property by patrolling premises, monitoring CCTV, controlling access by checking names off the rooming list as guests return to the property at night-time and responding to emergencies or disturbances. Key duties include: conducting security checks, enforcing hotel policies, investigating incidents and providing polite, friendly customer service whilst maintaining a safe environment for all guests who stay in The Prince Rooms.
Key Responsibilities
* Patrolling: Regularly inspects the interior and exterior of the property, including corridors, parking lots and all other public areas
* Surveillance: Monitor CCTV cameras, security alarms, and access points to detect, deter, and report suspicious activity
* Guest & Asset Protection: Prevents theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access to guest rooms, staff, and staff only areas of the property.
* Emergency Response: Acts as first responder for medical emergencies, fire alarms, or unruly guests, coordinating with the guards and medical services if required
* Access Control & Security Checks: Manages room keys, monitor entrance, and enforce visitor policies. All guests that return to the property at night-time must be checked off against the rooming list. Anyone who is not on the rooming list cannot be allowed access to the property. Maintain a high level of security in relation to control of master keys
* Reporting: Documents daily activities, incidents, and maintenance hazards in detailed logs via Alkimii
Qualifications and Skills
* Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and responding to stressful situations
* Observation: High attention to detail for identifying security risks
* Certification: Valid security license and first aid certification is an advantage
* Professionalism: A calm, polite demeanour that aligns with The Prince Rooms high standard is a must
* Computer literate
