Job Summary
This role involves providing technical support on complex automation assembly equipment to achieve a high level of equipment reliability and quality product with minimal defects. The Automation Engineering Technician will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, complete associated paperwork, records and CMMS to cGMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support on complex automation assembly equipment
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
* Complete associated paperwork, records and CMMS to cGMP standards
* Ensure PMs and Calibrations are performed 100% on time
* Assist in implementation of process improvements to achieve more efficient operations
* Assist with the commissioning of new equipment / projects
* Order and maintain appropriate stock of spare parts
Requirements:
* HETAC Level 6 Qualification in mechanical, control and automation engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or other suitable technical discipline
* Minimum of 6 months hands on experience in pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, programmable controllers, servo motor drives, vision systems, ultrasonic welding or workshop machining
* Experience in mechanical / electrical / high volume automation / robotics
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and have a keen eye for detail. They will also be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
This role requires flexibility to work a shift pattern and availability to travel to support new equipment and/or training.
