Purpose of the Role:
K2 is seeking a Facilities Process Specialist to manage and service our data centre infrastructure and facilities in Johor. The role ensures that operational procedures, documentation, and records are maintained to meet relevant certifications and operational requirements, such as ISO certification, Health and Safety standards, Security Management System records, and IT requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage compliance with data centre related ISO accreditation and the Information Security Management System. Collaborate with IT support vendors, group functions, and compliance support vendors such as IT Governance.
2. Serve as the point of contact for Health and Safety across all sites, working with vendors and training the Operations team. Assist in seeking ISO accreditation for K2 data centres.
3. Support the development and maintenance of the Information Security Management System, preparing for ISO and other audits.
4. Monitor and report on environmental and recycling waste management for sustainability and during audits.
5. Coordinate with the Facilities Lead for environmental audits.
6. Manage IT procurement, licensing, support, and asset management across multiple data centre sites.
7. Collaborate with finance and the Operations team on budgets, billing, and customer invoicing.
8. Oversee Operations planning for Planned Preventative Maintenance using the Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system.
9. Coordinate security measures alongside the Facility Lead and Security vendor, managing physical access to the facilities.
10. Assist the General Manager on Corporate Social Responsibility projects, expanding involvement over time.
11. Manage training schedules, ensuring compliance with EHS & Technical requirements.
12. Maintain EHS policy documents and processes, escalating issues as needed.
13. Support asset management and lifecycle management of IT equipment, working with Ops IT vendors.
14. Assist with finance processes including purchase orders, invoicing, and budgets.
15. Plan and issue PPMs, manage CAFM ticketing, and develop reports from monitoring systems.
16. Become an expert in CAFM and new ticketing systems.
17. Monitor and report on physical security, working with security vendors.
18. Manage ad-hoc projects and prepare analytical reports with recommendations.
19. Collaborate with departments to improve efficiencies and minimize failure scenarios.
Working Environment:
* Walking on uneven terrain, working at heights, in noisy and confined spaces.
* Performing physical tasks, lifting/moving items, and using tools or equipment.
* Working shifts longer than eight hours, including physical and manual tasks.

* Deliver excellent customer service, remain calm under pressure, and work independently.
* Punctual, reliable, detail-oriented.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma or relevant certification.
* 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in Data Centres.
* Knowledge of IT security and networking is an advantage.
* Strong document control, EHS understanding, and project management skills.
* Effective communication skills, familiar with ISO standards (ISO27001, ISO45001, ISO14001), Soc 2 Type 2, and Microsoft Office.
* Innovative thinker with people management experience.
