Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, including policy administration, premium collection, claims coordination, and customer query management.
* They will manage relationships with insurers, ensure service levels are delivered across underwriting partners, and support compliance with regulatory frameworks in Ireland and the UK.
* This role involves monitoring and enhancing internal processes and operational systems to drive performance and efficiency across all functions.
* The Operations Manager will lead and support a small team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
About You:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in insurance operations is required, preferably within general insurance and/or group life.
* You should have a strong understanding of delegated authority arrangements, SLA delivery, and third-party relationship management.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements in both Ireland and the UK is essential.
* You should be comfortable working in a lean team, taking a hands-on approach where needed.
* A proven ability to lead or mentor a team and work cross-functionally with finance, compliance, and executive stakeholders is necessary.
Candidate Requirements:
* Professional qualifications such as CIP or ACII are desirable.
* You should be commercially aware with a strong focus on quality, delivery, and operational integrity.
