STOCK CONTROLLER - CORK Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory/Stock Controller to join their team in Cork. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, and optimizing replenishment processes to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction Key Responsibilities: Manage inbound and outbound stock transactions according to Intact IQ standard procedures Maintain optimal supplier levels, adjusting for seasonality and project demands Minimize stock holding while maximizing customer service levels Conduct cycle counts and scheduled stock takes to ensure high accuracy Prepare, process, and record stock takes, including staff training Handle customer and supplier queries related to delivery and supply Produce reports on inventory statistics, stock loss, and movement trends Monitor and address slow-moving or obsolete stock Collaborate with IT department to improve inventory control systems Work with internal audit team to optimize customer service stock levels You Will Have: Previous experience in stock management, preferably as a stock controller Knowledge of Hardware, DIY, and Plumbing Materials Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Proficiency in IT and computer literacy Familiarity with inventory management systems Attention to detail and reliability Ability to develop good working relationships with suppliers, customers, and team members Benefits: Company Pension Scheme Competitive Salary Staff Training Opportunities Employee Discount Program Long Service Leave and Recognition INDWH Skills: Inventory Control Stock Control Communication
