Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive strategic growth and lead on high-profile projects. As a successful applicant, you will be working closely with the Director to expand operations in Ireland.
About the Role:
* Analyse blueprints and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labour costs vs estimates.
* Perform quantity surveying duties including measurements, valuation and agreement of work sections.
* Experience in project management and competent in all forms of estimating packages.
* Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction manager/supervisors to discuss cost.
* Monitor cost from vendors or subcontractors, explore variances and manage issues in conjunction with manager.
* Reports on actual costs and examines estimates used by management for planning, organisation and scheduling work.
* Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals.
* Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
