We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled finance professional to fill a Senior Management Accountant position in our growing business.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing management accounts, focusing on gross margin variances and implementing action plans for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. They will also evaluate and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance, oversee working capital management, ensuring optimal cash flow and financial planning, and provide full financial control services to a portfolio of retail sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review management accounts, focusing on gross margin variances and implementing action plans for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
* Evaluate and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
* Oversee working capital management, ensuring optimal cash flow and financial planning.
* Provide full financial control services to a portfolio of retail sector clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with 5+ years' post-qualification experience, possessing strong financial analysis, problem-solving, and client communication skills, proficiency in accounts preparation, financial reporting, and IT systems, and the ability to train, manage, and develop staff effectively.
