Job Overview
The Strategy and Transformation team is seeking a highly skilled professional to play a key role in the delivery and implementation of transformation and reform strategy.
This challenging role requires someone who can work with managers and across the wider team to support the delivery of projects, as well as proactively collaborate and engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage expectations throughout delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in project/change/portfolio management or continuous improvement roles, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to deliver results under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of projects as assigned, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality outcomes.
* Proactively collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage expectations throughout delivery.
* Analyse data, prepare reports, and statistical returns/documentation for internal and external audiences.
* Escalate key issues and risks related to projects or initiatives to line managers and senior management team.
* Act as a point of contact for guidance and advice on Strategy and Transformation related matters.
* Stay up-to-date with latest developments and best practice in relevant areas of Strategy and Transformation, police services, and public bodies.
Essential Criteria
* A qualification at minimum level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications (Honours Bachelor Degree level) in a related subject.
* Experience working in a project/change/portfolio management or continuous improvement role.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to analyse and synthesise large amounts of information and present required information clearly and concisely to a wide audience.
