Job Title: Territory Manager
A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Territory Manager to support the business growth of Italicatessen, a leading company in importing and distributing top quality Italian food and wines.
Job Summary:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for implementing the Company's strategic and operational plan, maintaining relationships and business with key foodservice customers and Multiples, creating a vision for each to follow and gain market share. This role is based in Galway/Clare/Limerick, reporting to our head office located in Newtownmountkennedy, Co Wicklow.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain a daily/weekly/monthly schedule of customer visits to ensure successful delivery of assigned targets.
* Promote/Sell/Secure orders from existing and prospective customers through effective communication and negotiation skills.
* Organise tasting demonstrations with prospective and existing customers as required.
* Plan periodic promotions within foodservice to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
* Coordinate sales effort with sales management, accounting, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution.
* Supply management with regular reports on customer needs, problems, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
* Analyse market trends and competitor strategies to inform business decisions.
* Demonstrate continuous growth in sales volume while maintaining margin objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
* Excellent knowledge of the Food/Hospitality sector.
* Proficient computer skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a self-starter who needs little direction and has a proven track record of success.
* Full Clean Licence Knowledge.
