Job description
Hollilander Recruitment is looking for suitable HCA candidates across Ireland. We are hiring candidates immediately, with a view to starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the nursing staff in providing care to the residents
* Ensuring residents' hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the residents
* Assisting residents with eating and drinking
* Assisting residents with mobilizing and using the correct aids
* Facilitate and implement a person-centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes, and requirements of the resident.
* Escorting or/transferring residents as directed by the Nursing staff
* Promote and actively participate in teamwork.
* Any other duties deemed necessary by nursing staff and management.
Qualifications
* QQI or FETAC Level 5 Healthcare( All 8 modules Completed)/Pre-nursing
* Eligible to work in Ireland
* Minimum 6 months of experience working in a healthcare setting/elderly care within Ireland
* Enthusiastic, caring, reliable
* Flexible to work different shifts
* Are you available to work Monday to Friday
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
