Team and opportunity
Our Technology Strategy & Transformation team supports clients on business and digital enablement through technology strategy, architecture and advisory services.
Operating within a global EMEIA network, we provide CTOs, CIOs, CXOs, and COOs with insights and services to derive business value from technology investments.
Services span from strategy development to architecture and solution design, and execution.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with development and implementation of technology and digital strategies, and deliver Enterprise Architecture services and tools.
Lead medium to large projects/workstreams, reporting directly to the client and acting as a reliable advisor.
Plan, execute and deliver engagements, including technology transformations and related services.
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, and maintaining communication with teammates and leadership on progress.
Build strong internal relationships within EY Technology Consulting and across other service lines.
Contribute to practice growth through development of relevant industry and technology thought leadership material.
Coach and mentor team members, providing performance feedback.
Ensure compliance with EY quality and risk-management processes across projects and other interactions.
Prepare bids/tenders and lead key elements of responses.
Qualifications – Required
Minimum of 5+ years practical experience in delivering technology services, including technology/digital strategy, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, system implementation, and agile software development.
Subject-matter expertise in at least one enterprise architecture domain (applications, data, infrastructure, security, integration).
Experience in leadership or management roles, including project management and team management.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail & consumer goods, healthcare, agri-foods, and energy.
Ability to identify client needs and provide logical, creative solutions.
Knowledge of business and technology requirements for scalable application architectures.
Experience creating architecture standards, frameworks and best practices that help achieve business goals.
Ability to examine technology vision, opportunities and challenges, and explore emerging technologies and innovations.
Knowledge and experience with agile, DevOps and cloud-based technologies (Azure, AWS).
Certifications such as TOGAF, Scrum, ITIL, PMP, Prince2, vendor (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, etc.) or management certifications.
Abstract thinking skills to tie technical and architectural dots.
Vendor and partner business relationship building and stakeholder interfacing.
Proficiency in project management and business development.
Proficiency with EA tools, office productivity tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Effective written and verbal business communication skills.
